“Figure as Frame explores the boundless nature of projected animation and it’s ability to free the human figure. This three-part composition consists of personal interpretations and visual experimentation of the body, while retaining coherence through color. As the animation detaches itself from its usual conventions, the figure dismembers itself from the bound body. As the viewer moves through the space, he or she will experience a set of dynamic and surreal animations. This project is embedded in an interest in abstract animation, introspective exploration and the breakdown of the human figure.”
